Welcome Steve Brigg

With over 20 years’ experience in I.T to his name, Steve has been practicing Scrum since 2015. He has delivered services across a wide variety of clients including Start-ups, consultancies, Government Departments and global e-Comm organisations.

Steve’s first venture into the world of agility was at Sky Plc where he servant-led a team transitioning from a legacy platform to a modern CMS shared by both Sky News and Sky Sports. His skills were soon recognised and from there he moved to the very high profile and fast-paced Sky Sports website. It was here that he helped his teams gain recognition for outstanding achievement.

A particular highlight for Steve was working with William Hill where he assumed the trail-blazing role as Scrum Master on a backend Infrastructure team, assisting the team in laying the foundation blocks for migrating applications from on-premise data centres to the Cloud. This involved Steve regularly traveling to overseas locations to facilitate proof of concepts to other Scrum Teams, spreading learning rapidly across the organisation. Steve also took this opportunity to upskill and during this time he qualified as a Certified DevOps Leader and gained extensive hands-on experience of Value Stream Mapping.

Steve continued as an Agile Practitioner and Coach with several other global organisations and U.K Government Departments, most recently providing hands on Agile Coaching services for Security Clients in the secure networking space, cyber security & Defence sectors.

Each workplace brought unique challenges and plenty of success and a fair share of failures too! This provided Steve with a wealth of ‘know-how’, which he now brings to Agile Monster, ready to deliver real value to our clients. Whether it’s starting new Scrum teams or improving existing squads, Steve will be an asset to any client wanting to become increasingly effective at delivering rapid, safe and cheap value to customers.
